If it's too much of a risk to put the Libertines before that band that Axl plays in, I don't think they'll be too keen to put them before that band who cancelled a charity performance on the day and went on a 4 year hiatus after an argument over gig scheduling.

They're 100% definitely being announced on Monday.

What an absolutely pathetic thing to say. I know you want 'Dockateez Groupiez' on here defending him, but listen mate I will say one thing. The Libertines are playing your precious festival whether you like it or not. There hasn't been a Babyshambles no-show in so long, and Peter sometimes plays 100 gigs a year so no-shows are sometimes and understandably inevitable.

After The Libs leave Reading spellbound, you'll all be waving your cocks around begging them to suck them. And if you decide not to see The Libertines.. then brilliant, we don't want people like you in the crowd.

I know I'm outnumbered here and you'll laugh it off, but I don't really care. I've found your posts upto today very interesting and intelligible (I'm a long-term reader who, admittedly, has only joined now because I feel specially compelled to say something) But the ignorance of music fans remains a massive problem. And the more ignorant people are to excellent bands such as The Libs then the less people there are in the crowd really; works for me.

I understand the decision has split people in two. I don't expect half the people on here to agree with it. But there's no agreeing gracefully is there? I can't stand most bands on the bill but understand that many do so I remain happy.

This is the biggest joke i have heard efestivlas people are a joke i agree with groovygilb in that the libertines are one of few decent things in this line up cause arcade fire dont have the amazing support libertines have lets just say i live in scotland and im only buying a ticket because the libertines are playing and same with about 8 of my friends. I also agree with groovygilb whe he says pete always shows up to gigs because ive seen him 3 times and two of them has been off his face and still put on a good show even if pete is shooting up he will be there he never misses gigs!

Well many bands considered overrated by the nature of the word get massive crowds as a lot of people rate them! I personally dont like the term, who am I or anyone else to tell someone that they shouldn like the bands they do.

Arcade Fire are a must see, but am gutted they they wont be at Glastonbury again this year after their performance in 2007!
