I'd guess Libs could easily get a crowd as big as Razorshite and they headlined, so i think 2nd on Main stage would be fine for them - headling NME would just be mental, the tent would burst.

What an absolutely pathetic thing to say. I know you want 'Dockateez Groupiez' on here defending him, but listen mate I will say one thing. The Libertines are playing your precious festival whether you like it or not. There hasn't been a Babyshambles no-show in so long, and Peter sometimes plays 100 gigs a year so no-shows are sometimes and understandably inevitable.

After The Libs leave Reading spellbound, you'll all be waving your cocks around begging them to suck them. And if you decide not to see The Libertines.. then brilliant, we don't want people like you in the crowd.

I know I'm outnumbered here and you'll laugh it off, but I don't really care. I've found your posts upto today very interesting and intelligible (I'm a long-term reader who, admittedly, has only joined now because I feel specially compelled to say something) But the ignorance of music fans remains a massive problem. And the more ignorant people are to excellent bands such as The Libs then the less people there are in the crowd really; works for me.

I understand the decision has split people in two. I don't expect half the people on here to agree with it. But there's no agreeing gracefully is there? I can't stand most bands on the bill but understand that many do so I remain happy.

No shows are not understandably inevitable, many bands play as many shows as him and make sure they turn up, and turn up on time. If he can't hack it he should play less shows. Fact is PD is just a dick.

They should pull a fairly massive crowd, though probably wont be as big as prodigy last year

Personally, I think Carl is better.

And that other guy was right about GaGa. Doherty wouldn't do that. He just wouldn't give any notice. Feel free to defend your idol and what not, but please don't try and make out he is something that he isn't. And as far as a man with an addiction, what man who is trying to help himself takes wraps with him into a court room.
