Comebacks and over rated bands

Yeh, I know what you mean about the regurgutated bands thing. Even though arctic monkeys are still big, Glasto got them at the right time in 2007 when they were absolutely huge.

And I agree with you about Arcade Fire being bigger than the libertines, but I also think the libertines are a huge risk lol.

My issue with the headliners is that it's all 3 of them together, all 3 are risks.

you dont make sense in your comments, your obviously just depressed and have never been to a festival because if your watching i predict a riot a well known song singing along and jumping about and he climbs the stage the crowd are gonna react positively. so 'what make good frontman?'

the only reason Kaisers go down well live is because their appauling songs are shoved down our ears constantly

they aren't good, at all - we're just forced to know every terrible song with every terrible 'WHOOOAAAAAA' interlude in them

last years Leeds and Reading was full of Radio One idiots who came for Arctics, Kings Of Leon, The Prodigy, Kaisers and to cause sh!t (sorry if that's generalising, but it's true)

if Kaisers had played any other year they wouldn't of gone down even half as well. they just happened to play the year that every other band that arseholes love played

wait.... so your saying that the arctic monkeys, kings of leon and the prodigy are only listened to by "radio one idiots" and the music is purely to "cause sh!t" what you on about mate?? im pretty sure your a middle aged man who thinks that he knows what everyone should listen to... at the end of the day a festival lineup is meant to appeal to the vast majority of fans.... of course some wont agree (like your good self) but you cant deny that the set played by the arctics, kings of leon and the prodigy werent epic

i'm actually chuffed with this out of the 3 headliners and 3 subs i would say that 5 of them are worthy headliners, one being paramore im not too sure about subbing but meh... so im pretty happy, combined with lostprophets limp bizkit etc it could be one of the best years yet :P

and you can't doubt at leeds kaisers were amazing...

Arcade Fire will be one of the highlights of the festival. At first I was a bit confused about why they'd headline and I like them but they don't tour that often and it would be a brilliant atmosphere.

Plus Arctics headlined on 3 albums and when it comes around AF will have 3 albums out so you can't complain they don't have enough songs.

However, I hope they'll be better than Arctics were last year. Honestly, I don't think I've ever been so bored watching a band. Were such a let down imo

I'm definitely getting a ticket because its not just about the line-up at Leeds, after my first time last year, there is also the campsite experience which adds to the overall festival which was brilliant last year.
