I went to the Blur forum to see if there was any more about this - the thread began "someone has posted this on efestivals..." :P

Anyway, I also found out Damon did an interview for Australian radio yesterday, and he said that Blur has ended; http://forums.blur.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=61172&start=0

:P:(:P if its true, but I don't think it is. They'll be back. Probably not this year, but they'll be back.

Mr Coxon has had some motorbikes stolen in the last few months , so I reckon to pay for

his insurance he has requested a cool £2m to play R/L , and they have come up with the

money

:P

Love to see Blur play as they were bar far the best act i seen last year but kinda got used to the idea of GnR, Blink, Arcade Fire an would be gutted to miss anyone of those bands, Oh the dilema. But in fairness cant see Blur playing... Thought Damon said he was hoping to do festivals with Gorrilaz this summer anyways ?

i'd find it weird for Damon to just jump back into Blur considering he's just released an album, and touring with, Gorillaz

their Glastonbury performance went better than anybody could've hoped for, but he said that that was it, so i doubt he'd just change his mind in less than a year

I really can't understand the speculation about Blur. Wouldn't it be a massive devaluation of their comeback last year? Which they genuinely seemed to enjoy and it went down incredibly well..

Also, surely Albarn is more keen to work on live stuff for Gorillaz? Having just spent a very long time making Plastic Beach and talking about touring it...

After last year's reunion shows, I honestly believed we would see Blur headlining Leeds/Reading in 2010, but after what Damon had said about no plans in the near future, I lost hope.

I expect to be let down on Monday but if Blur were to play, it would make me so happy as I missed out on them last year!

We can only pray! :P

After seeing them at Glastonbury and it being probably the best night of my life so far, I'm not sure I'd want to see them again. That wasn't like any other gig, it was really special and everyone there knew it. When they played the Universal, I cried a little, feeling a little silly I looked over to see my two mates crying, and behind me several other people. Walking away I started singing Tender and everyone around me joined in. Hundreds of people, it was incredible. I think that should be it for Blur.

If you weren't there I doubt you could understand how amazing it was, and you probably don't agree with me that they should end it there!
