These are hopes more then guesses, but I reckon also possibilities.

Interpol for the clash with Guns n Roses on Sunday (if it isn't Arcade fire)

Can't see Maccabees being a headliner just yet, maybe a second headliner (under Interpol would be a dream come true)

As for the other 2 headliners for NME i have no idea - maybe MGMT with a new album coming out soon.

Festival Republic - very much agree with someones guess of the xx, Delphic and Ellie Goulding as headliners (even though EG is dreadful, anyone see her temper trap cover on youtube?)

NME - Hole, QOTSA or MCR and f**k it lets say The Specials

Lockup - Glassjaw and NoFX maybe... but i do doubt NoFX.Maybe the new version of SUblime might pop up somewhere?

Dance - top 3 of UNKLE, DJ Shadow and Audiobulleys maybe? Or maybe oneof Soulwas or 2 Many DJs.

FR - toomany bands to possibly metion.

QOTSA brought a huge audience to the main stage in 08-it'd be stupid to put them in a tent

Arcade Fire do arena tours and have played the same slot as QOTSA before(regardless of whether you like them or not, they clearly have a large fan base-which hasn't reduced in size particularly)-it'd be stupid to put them in a tent, even if they are less riotous than QOTSA

Expect the usual Indie type of headliners plus Hole:

FNM and Lostprophett were as an alternative to the 'indie' headliners last year so surely if we are having 'heavier' main stage headliners they would put 'indie NME headliners?

Yeasayer to play the NME as well would be good
