CCTV at Reading?

He pissed on a man's head?!

Did he know this man, and did the man want him to do this?

If he was a random stranger that was just sitting around minding his own business before some bloke came up and pissed on his head, was he happy to be covered in piss?

Back to the cctv issue, if this helps to identify the idiots burning toilets and other peoples tents, cars etc on the sunday, take their names and then hopefully ban them from future festivals, then I'm all for it.

The only people I see benefitting from CCTV cameras are those trashy TV shows that buy the footage and show it as 'entertainment'.

If there is a problem, then have people on the ground to address it; not some lard arse sitting around eating bacon sanwiches watching a bank of screens.

I don't think it's the Orwellian festival that most are predicting with CCTV watching our every move. I'm pretty sure the CCTV will be there to pick up on major issues such as anti social behaviour, they'd have trouble trying to keep eye on everyone doing anything slightly illegal.

Well inform your mate in advance if any of his piss comes as much as near me I wont hesitate to have 'fun' dealing with him until he forgot he ever did it. It's stupid things like this where you have to go back to being a child and 'treat others as you'd expect them to treat you'.

This is exactly it, I've sat in the CCTV control room at Reading a few times, there is nothing to worry about if you are just enjoying the festival.

It's used to monitor crowd movements, pit issues, major disturbances and any potential safety issues
