Metal Hammer

I haven't got the issue of Metal Hammer myself, and i can't be bothered looking online or anything, but apparently they have Limp Bizkit, KoRn, Queens Of The Stone Age, Glassjaw, My Chemical Romance and Four Year Strong down as playing Leeds and Reading (if anybody can confirm this in any way then awesome)

But those bands being announced would make my festival

imo: Limp Bizkit and KoRn playing Main Stage on Guns N Roses day, Queens Of The Stone Age headlining NME (sorry but i can't see where else they'd go), My Chemical Romance under Guns N Roses, Glassjaw headlining (or subbing) the Lockup, and Four Year Strong lower down on the Lockup (or possibly the Festival Republic stage... probably Lockup though)

QOTSA could play in the top 4 of the mainstage any day.

i just don't see why they'd be shifted down a few places just two years later after subbing (unless they actually do sub to GnR and Homme and Axl don't kill eachother)

which would mean that MCR would seemingly headline the NME... and i'm sorry but they'd pull a much bigger crowd than QOTSA

Limp Bizkit will either be hilariously bad or actually quite good... i think they'll be better than Korn anyway.

this probably isn't the right place but is there any chance of Street Sweeper Social Club playing? what with tom morello doing europe with RATM and all that.

Why can't they play under The Libertines and Arcade Fire? Why can't they play under Paramore? If MCR play under GnR, why can't QOTSA play 3rd from top?

Arcade Fire / Libertines are basically co-headliners so QOTSA playing under them would be pretty cool

A lot of those bands probably will play, but I wouldn't take anything Metal Hammer says as gospel.

right now Paramore are far bigger, people should be able to see that. wouldnt surprise me if they end up going back down in the line-up in years to come, but right now 2nd is right for them with the momentum and just overall current popularity.

If rumours are true that Arcade Fire are headlining the tent (which I very much can't see) then maybe there will be a different headliner in which QOTSA will play under, maybe gorillaz or something?

I think I remember at last yet focus group it was brought up that the lock up was very popular and coudl

it possible be announced earlier and melvin said he would look into announcing a few of the bands earlier

this year, so maybe that's why's going on!!

Damn right. Im going to spending alot of time at lock up i think, my sorta music. And if GNR do headline friday that means i can be in the dance tent for which i preditc chase and status will headline, maybe aphex twin.

I saw this on the metal hammer website yesterday and posted on the leeds forums about it hoping they're all playing but like others have pointed out they do seem to jump to conclusions and post up any old nonsence like the fake posters.

I hope some of these acts play, it'll show good intention from the festival that it isn't just becoming an NME borefest.

Out of the ones mentioned I'd go for Limp Bizkit, Korn, QOTSA and MCR.
