Eric and Jaret are doing an acoustic tour over here soon, and apparently they've self confirmed to be doing it at Download too. I can't imagine it either, would be quite funny though I'd expect.

I dont like bowling for soup but in my opinion they are a much better choice than bands like brand new, taking back sunday, thrice, thurday etc who often seem to get pushed up to the main stage and go down like lead balloons because the crowd dont have a cluw who they are.
