It seems like Axl bashing is the fashionable thing to do, even with metal fans. People seem to forget how incredible Guns N Roses were and how much of that was because of Axl. His voice is still awesome and if the Reading crowd don't turn on him it will be an incredible headlining set!

Axl is in my opinion the greatest front man ever, if you go to see them your either going to see the greatest show you have ever seen or something will happen during the show that will f**k everything up.

He certainly has a bad reputation but I thinkj alot of people are giving him a hard time.

If he's playing a gig and someone throws someting does he not have a right to be pissed off? I'd love to see what would happen if he caught the c**t.

As for him turning up late last time he played Leeds, yes he did, but he could've easily played a shorter set but went on and played for a full 2 hours even although they had to go well past the curfew.

It has the potential to go all wrong, but I have faith that they will turn up andplay an excllent set to those who are there to see them. If you don't want to see them thats fine, go elsewhere rather than waste it for everyone else.

I saw them a few years ago and was one of the best gigs of my life. Started on time, Axl was on fire the best vocals I have ever heard live honestly blew me away at times. He did stop the gig once halfway through You Could Be Mine, but only to get the audience at the front to back up as people were being crushed at the front. The band then immidietly restarted the song the exact place they stopping, was immense.

Probably wouldnt book them as a festival headliner, would just take a few knobends to try and get him to storm off to end it all early, far too risky. Would be immence if they actually manage to pull it off though. Anyone who says they are a waste of a slot is a idiot, since when are one of the biggest bands in history a waste? (I known they arn't the actual band but you havnt seen a GnR song live till u hear Axl sing it)
