gr4h4m
I seriously think this years headliners are extremely weak, even NME stage is nothing special overall though there is about 15 bands I want to see but I think this is the first time I've never wanted to see any of the mainstage headliners and out of NME I'd only really see Pendulum
swordfish
2009's line up was shite. i'm pure hyper about this line up
Marshall
so glad last year I decided I wouldn't be going back (after 20 years) this year has got to be the worst line up i've seen! ok Arcade Fire i like but most of the rest absolute cack. Still those of you going I hope you have a great weekend.
Sparticus
16 Bands I want to see. Im stuck with an Enter Shikari/The Libertines Clash And possible Frank Turner/Modest Mouse. But seriously NME on the Friday for Leeds is so sweet. And mainstage Sunday Leeds is epic. Shame saturday is weak for me... and isn't that usually dance tent day? Much prefer to have that on a lock up day >.<
Chinese Democracy
I got a friday day ticket, it's going to be my 1st taster of reading and I gotta say Billy Talent opening the main stage and GNR closing it is freakin epic.
lucastang
Friday is a bit weak at Reading, but with other acts to be announced it should be alright in the end! I don't like the clash between Klaxons + Foals + We are Scientists and Blink + Paramore. I will have to see Blink, but I am so gutted to miss out on Klaxons. sjp_121
The frank turner/ modest mouse clash was my only potential worry as well, but when i got in my car spotted the leeds round the neck thingy from last year, seems that on a normal day (as in without the mammoth set time like gnr will get) 5th on the radio one stage will only clash with 4th on the main stage, this will make three leeds watching frank turner at leeds. Really impressed with how things have turned out, i can't wait for dizzee to smash it on the main stage! (The number of tunes he had two years ago was ridiculous, now with his bigtime success it'll be like a greatest hits package!). All we need is offspring headlining the lockup (not a chance i know) when arcade fire are on and i will eat my own head in excitement! scottt
Except ffor the top 5 out of 6. And weezer. And limp Bizkit. And Modest Mouse. And Cypress Hill. Oh, and Gogol Bordello. And Nofx. And then 2 out of the 3 NME headliners.
ProphetsAreLost
Quite made up with this to be honest, fair few bands i'd love to see, yet still quite a few clashes Shikari Or Libs being the main one, but still caught up a bit about missing Klaxons for blink. But still, overall quite happy with it, more so than last year.
paulomas
MODEST MOUSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Matticus
Arcade Fire are going to be insane. Everyone needs to get merry and enjoy it with the ones you love.
theramm
Sooooo happy overall with this years line-up, especially after last year when we all ended up selling our early bird tickets after the line-up was announced. The Limp Bizkit, Cypress Hill + Weezer triple header should be immense. The Friday (Leeds) mainstage looks a little dodgy at the moment but with loads more to be added + lock up I'm remaining faithful that I'll have a full weekend of acts on my list. Boba73
I think it's looking quite good. GnR will loose out to LCD for me. I'll give the Libs and AF a go. But I think Paramore & Blink is a poor end to the main stage. I'll be over with Klaxons. A lot of nice stuff lower down.
hombrederayo
I'll be at the main stages for the afternoon and NME at the end of the night it looks like. I think its the 1st time there is a headliner that I have never heard of in arcade fire, I must be getting old! blink 182 - a poor mans wheatus! Or at least I always used to get those 2 bands confused.
evilduck
I hope Arcade Fire headlining will prompt a lot of people to check them out. I wasn't even that much of a fan before I saw them live for the first time and they totally converted me. They put on an awe-inspiring show.
