Nice call Keese, managed to convince a whole load of people in on your rumours, which were quite a bit different to the ones doing the rounds at the time Without it, people would have only gone for tickets probably tomorrow after they'd seen the lineup and seen it is sold out

Sterling work on the predictions guys. I was only to happy to pass on all the rumours as my own of course!!!! My mates who never come on Efests asked me where I got my info from....I just smiled knowingly and tapped the side of my nose.....Can't wait for the fest to start now...best lineup for years!!!

If you care to re-read the article, I never said they were headlining, I didn't even say they were playing - and they were only ever listed as a 'strong rumour'. They were in there mainly as a best guess at that time on the third headliner, based on not a huge amount of minor bits and pieces.

The point of the article that mentioned them was to reveal Arcade Fire as being one of the headliners (and to say Green Day weren't) - something that very few people believed as true right up until the announcement was made yesterday (and something that keese insisted was wrong, even 20 minutes before the announcement when he started a gloating thread - where he got to gloat about being wrong ).

I wouldn't have bothered writing an article to say blink were a headliner - everyone pretty much knew that anyway ... but as they were known, they were included.

So as it named two, I attempted to name the 3rd too - but with hindsight I shouldn't have tried doing that.
