since aof werent in the first announcement last year, and played 8th down, i think Reel Big Fish or a similar ska band might be announced beneath Billy Talent and play both

Or i could dream, and thrice can play a beggars/alchemy index/vheissu setlist on mainstage, and a identity crisis/illusion of safety/artist in the ambulance setlist on lockup

I understand that, and can kind of see why it happens, just seems to make more sense at a big festival like Glastonbury than it does at Reading, just my opinion

That and the lock-up tent is small, so it makes sense for some of the bigger bands (most noteworthy was JEW) to be able to be viewed elsewhere as well to prevent a crush/people missing out.

In the past 3 years it has been, Alexisonfire and the bronx/mariachi el bronx in 09, Anti-flag in 08 and jimmy eat world in 07. has there been anyone else?

I thought the Anti Flag second gig two years ago was amazing.

There last 3 albums have been poor, but in that set they played alot of older stuff that they don't really play anymore.

Hoping for NOFX twice, didnt they pull out last time because they got put on the main stage instead of the lock up? Possibly points to them doing both this year.

Think the order for twice is

2006 - flogging molly

2007 - jimmy eat world

2008 - anti-flag

2009 - alexisonfire

I was thinking maybe Thrice.

Deffinitely have enough stuff to fill 2 slots too. Unlike the last 2 years with them playing the same sets, Thrice tend to mix it up a bit.
