Hi guys, I need some advice in the right direction my mates are wanting to go to bestival/reading and mostly U.K festivals me being the odd one out wants do go somewhere diffrent , such as a European festival like EXIT or Festival and want a more global/worldwide vibe where I can meet loads of new people and enjoy the music... is there anybody in the sameboat as me? somebody who also on their own but wants to ..or if there groups on here where we can all meet up at certain festivals? I dunno lol .. Just a soon too be 20 year old student from London ..festival buddis

I went to abifestival by myself in 07, wasn't a problem to make friends at all...

i'm going to exit festival on my own but i've also met solo travellers going to the same fest on here.. we meeting up at the free rage gig cos we all managed to get ticket. we've also decided to book an apartment together for exit.

i'm going to opener on my own this year, and hoping i'll mingle with folk no problem. i'll be taking the saltire so hopefully it won't be me approaching all the time.

I went to Sonar on my lonesome a couple of years ago and met loads and loads of people, you tend to be a bit more open when travelling alone.
