YumYum
I think The Libertines and Guns N' Roses, The Libertines - well everyone is rating a 50/50 show of itll either be a memorable one for the wrong or right reasons, they are arguably the biggest band of the 'Indie' era along with Strokes and AM. GNR- After QOTSA, against LCD (who i think are the weakest NME headliner), and GNR are the biggest of the 3 headliners, pretty similar to libs in the 50/50 chances of how it could go. What you think? mrtourette
I think most people would agree.
olly!olly!olly!
Blink 182 Up again klaxons and I dont really think anybody cares about them (klaxons) any more. Not my sort of band, but almost everyone I have spoken to says they are looking forward to seeing Blink more than any other band. Blinks fans from first time round are now the sort of people who are going to reading/leeds IMO. Libs would get a bigger crowd, but enter shikari will be very popular at Reading so they may lose numbers there. GNR dont have a massive appeal at Reading I dont think. Big crowd, but not the sort of band that people will be flocking towards in huge numbers. No others stand out

mjsell
agree that guns n roses have the weakest nme headliner to contend with (in terms of numbers that will see them), however i think they would still have one of the biggest crowds no matter what. They are undoubtably the biggest band at the festival this year (even if they arent the same as before... blah blah blah). I will be seeing them just for a good ol sing along, i can see many doing the same - even the non-music loving festival goers will still know a decent amount of songs as they are classics. they are also on fire atm. game, set and match. scottt
Im going for blink. I think a lot of people will avoid GnR. A lot of people wont have enough interest in Arcade fire, but everyone knows some Blink songs, and most people at leeds fest grew up with them. adam1234
I think libs for obvious reasons, blink because they will be so much fun and are a perfect festival band and GnR because in fairness they have to be seen as the biggest band there (personally im not that bothered about seen them)
2reese2
It has to be blink 182, I think people will be hyped up about this band nearer the time. They have massive cross over appeal, everyone knows a blink song. I think the the Libertines will have a massive crowd as well just because of the novelty of them playing. Also NME will be getting behind them massively. I can see arcade fire having a smaller crowd but being the band of the weekend, i can see it being very epic and i think it will mean a lot to the band (being there first massive headline gig in the uk) so i think that it will make them perform better and get the crowd behind them. Dermot
i reckon pendulum will probs get one of the biggest nme headline crowds ever. Most of my friends have never even heard of arcade fire
likelyladtom
Paramore - they're awesome don't you know.

SomeDay
I have never been before so don't know how big NME stage is, but i think Pendulum is gonna be packed, especially as they are up against Arcade Fire who aren't exactly huge headliners. jimmyd93
Biggest crowd? I'd have to say Blink. Everyone knows at least one song by them, and (generically speaking) people who attend festivals (people aged in their late teens/early 20s) will have grown up with them or been influenced by them in some way. They've made a MASSIVE comeback, and there will be so many people wanting to see them. They'll play all the hits, too. And whilst Tom Delonge's vocals are erm...Not up to scratch...Live, they'll put on a hell of a show. The Libertines will also get a massive crowd. For obvious reasons I think that the best band of the weekend will be Arcade Fire, but they're not quite known well enough to pull in such a big crowd. VCK
The Libertines will deffo get the biggest crowd of the weekend, no doubt about it. As for the biggest headliner crowd, I think that will go to Blink. And I can see GNR, Limp Bizkit and Dizzee pulling in their share of the punters. Oh, and Pendulum's crowd will absolutely pull the tent down, bad move by the organisers there...
Vieuphoria
I'm going with The Libertines. I think the day tickets are sold out fo Saturday... obviously for them. Got to be the Libs. also... Weezer. One of the most anticipated Reading bookings ever. They haven't toured the UK in years andhavent played festivals in longer.
tolywoly
The Libertines. Surely a bigger draw than Arcade Fire.
Sam Lanham
Pendulum would have been up there if they were main stage. Who knows - they may well still be.

Delinquent
They will not draw the biggest crowd but I think that Limp Bizkit will draw a big crowd. They shouldn't be 5th, personally I think they are worthy of 3rd. Most people know at least a song or 2 by them and there is seems to be an overwhelming thumbs up from people who saw them at last summer's festivals - for many of whom it was the first time of seeing them. Tom1889
Biggest crowd will be Blink or Gn'R. Smallest will be for Klaxons, who are on at the same time as Blink and produce shit music
