Who To Come?

Right now we have had about 24 hours to digest the lineup (i'm pretty happy with it!!!)

My thoughts now of who to come

Main Stage - 3 bands on each day are most probably due, i'd expect MGMT, Friendly Fires to fit in somewhere on the Friday and Saturday. Maybe the View in somewhere.

NME - Again 3/4 bands for each day, not really sure what will fill in there. Would expect the Radar Tour bands to it in early doors accross the days, maybe Boy Kill Boy, Does it Offend you Yeah. special guest slot for me might be Renegades, although prefer them as Feeder.

Lock Up/Dance - All to be announced, but Dance headliner for me could be 2 Many Dj's or Animal Collective or Audio Bullies, 2 of those 3 i would expect to play, Battles might be subbing down at 4th/5th

Alternative - All to be announced - Maybe The XX, Laura Marling, BRMC

Festival Republc - All to be announced - no ideas here maybe along the lines of - Chew Lips, Cinematics,

I would expect these bands to be announced but not cure where Holy F*ck, Panda Bear, Automatic, Idlewild

Dont know what peoples thoughts are? Only my views, appreciate other peoples views, not aiming to be shot down.

Really want Interpol and MGMT, especially Interpol. Main disappointment from first album.

Alternative is comedians etc, not bands. No matter how much I want BRMC to play.

id quite like Rise Against low on mainstage, though it wont happen. Hundred Reasons and Finch would be awesome, Thrice, Millencolin, Mad Caddies on lock up? and King Blues. a handful of them and i'll be thrilled!

MGMT and Maximo park please, dont think none of them will play but i can only hope.

The view and friendly fires are good shouts imo.

Based on last years line-up, there will be 8 more on the main stage, and 15 more in the tent.

Gotta be a mainstage band between Limp Bizkit and You Me At Six, and above TheMaccabees, and then the opening bands.

Im still amazed that Limp Bizkit are so low!! I know they are a bit old now and not the most popular, but at download and sonisphere last year they were on it and put on a show, need to have a good 45 mins really to get the classics out.

Personally think they will pull a bigger crowd than Cypress Hill and Weezer

I expect a couple of acts who are playing Download to be announced. 30STM could fit in somewhere but they're a decent sized act intheir own right so not sure where exactly? Stone Sour, 5FDP (early mainstage please) or Lamb of God? Stone Temple Pilots would be quality too.

Aside from rock acts...The Futureheads are a lock I reckon, Idlewild (unless they do V), Happy Mondays and Goldie Lookin Chain

Although weezer could maybe play one slot lower, no way do i see limp bizkit playing below 5th. Shocked theyre that low to be honest.

Motion City Soundtrack will probably play. Taking back sunday maybe third from bottom?

Can definitely see Sub Focus probably being one of the headliners in the dance tent

Also you've got to figure that Bombay Bicycle Club & The XX are probably going to be 2 of the headliners in the Festival Republic Stage or maybe co-headline the same night. Hadouken! are prob a good bet as well for either the nme stage or high up on Festival Republic

Laura Marling, Rolo Tomassi Marina & The Diamonds and The XX will play I think. Ellie Goulding too, or are ALL V acts entirely exclusive to V?

Lock Up Headliners: Killswitch Engage and Reel Big Fish

FR Stage Headliners: Ellie Goulding, Seasick Steve and Marina and the Diamonds

Other bands on various stages: The XX, A Day To Remember, Taking Back Sunday, 3OH3!, Chiddy Bang, etc. etc.

Not all artists i necessarily want to be there, just a prediction

i dont think so, only the headliners and bands high up on most stages will not play.

Saying that exclusivity is not worth the paper it is written on.

FNM last year were supposedly exclusive for download and then turned up at reading.
