BlueCal
Right, I know this sounds a bit wierd but me and my mates were discussing it. Can you see the organisers slipping somebody above Klaxons into the headline slot of NME? Klaxons have done nothing since 2007, and I'm personally not a fan of their first album, but I know many are however it is not definite that their new album will be as popular. I know they're popular with the so-called "NME crowd" but having been off the scene for a good few years now are they the right band to headline the NME Tent. I don't know if it would happen but there could be something along the lines of what happened with Faith No More and Jamie T last year, where a band that is so-called "exclusive" to another festival is slipped above Klaxons to headline. What do you guys think? Are Klaxons big enough? I wouldn't say it's likely but I wouldnt be totally surprised...

YumYum
Klaxons are a big enough band to headline the tent, they already have done, theyve got a Mercury Prize, and a new album that got sent back to the studio cos it was 'Too=Experimental' and need to be abit more comercail apparently, guessing the album will have been out for about 2months by then, if received well then theyll be bigger than ever and the biggest headliner out of the 3 NME ones in my eyes. 1karim
lostprophets and faith no more were added later last year so I was thinking that too. But on Zane Lowe's announcement he did describe all 3 as nme stage headliners, don't think they said headliner about jamie T or glasvegas last year but i could be wrong

moz4pm
if you'd been at their headline set in 07 you'd realize they are definitely big enough, every time they've played the tent it's been packed
Dan R
I really hope someone else does headline NME Purely because I love them but theres not a hope in hell of missing Blink Doubt it'll happen though Depends how well the new album does
scottt
Theyre confirmed as the headliners, so theyre headlining. Last year it was never said that Jamie T is headlining.
The_Functions
Klaxons will headline. Whoever said someone will be put above LCD Soundsystem rather than Klaxons, err why? Sound Of Silver is one of the best albums of the last 10 years, they're the most deserving NME headliner of recent years, give or take your FNM and Manics.
