What's the easier way to go to the Reading Festival from London,

and when is the best time to arrive?

Think the campsite opens on the thursday if you didnt buy early bird tickets for arrival on the wednesday.

From London, train from Paddington takes 25mins, thats the quickest way. Pretty frequent timetable too.

When I've come in the past on Thursday, we got there at 08:00 and had to camp in purple rather than the planned green...green was 85% full, purple 75% and i didnt investigate further...

Train is a good way to go, but be aware on top of the 15-20mins to get to the entrance, you're looking at another hour traipsing through the site looking for a good spot...

As to best time to arrive, as early as poss on the Thurs, but not sure when they allow people in.

We've driven a few times, which is not in the festival spirit, but allows you to bring more beer and provisions.

Should be alryt for you as it should be one train but bank holiday works caught me out last year a 2 and half hour journey took 9 hours!
