Except we got there and found out it had been cancelled. Due to 'illness', when pete was in london the night before playing with the Libertines.

I love pete, but cancelling a gig an hour before it is well out of order. Price you pay for being a fan of his i guess.

I know theres a guy on these boards who's supposed to be going to the babyshambles gig in darlington tonight, i think the guy on the door said that was cancelled too so i'd check before you go.

I saw Carl Barat last night at a Childline Rocks gig - he turned up! Nice set as well, a few new songs, a few Libertines (he said at one point "I'm feeling in a Libertine-y mood tonight") and finished with a belting version of "Bang Bang You're Dead"
