Its good for me,as i do like indie/rock.

although i do admit its missing some alter./heavy edge. i guess sonisphere and download dont help the organisers.

i would have loved mars volta, iron maiden type of massively awesome and popular bands booked.MCR AND BEADY EYE are weak headliners, maybe beady eye isnt the headliner??.

im kinda torn between the strokes day ,or weekend,i do enjoy the general weekend feel, but not sure about the bands on other days as im doing glasto, and most of those will be most likely be at glasto anyways.

i wonder if this year will sell fast or not,i guess a different crowd will be there this year.

but if i do leeds i can see other bands at glasto and leeds serves as a way of stopping band clashes at glasto.

wish all fests would just announce line ups i advance,so you can decide in good time, for sure which ones are worthy of doing. its like a gamble on putting money on one fest hoping those bands arent at another fest youre already doing!.

for me ide see:the strokes,pulp,muse,madness,elbow,the view,seasick steve,janes addiction,frank turner,white lies,offspring.

i guess the lock up and dance tent will be good enough to justify 200 pounds on 5 days of camping and the bands i do want to see.

suppose how many friends go is a big factor.

MCR will get a huge crowd, I would go as far as saying they'll get a bigger crowd than Arcade fire last year. Beady Eye although awful, are still a big draw purely for the Liam Gallacher factor.

The Horrors remain possibly the most boring and shittest band I have ever seen live. Fair enough it was in a support slot but even then you can at least get a feel for a band. They didn't move, didn't look like they at all cared about being there, and that's not to mention the musically boring and unexciting music.

Here's hoping I start to get in to Beady Eye otherwise Friday night's not gonna be fun for me (maybe I'll just organise one of my shifts then).

Friday will be my walk around & note new bands I haven't seen before day. Then get hideously drunk somewhere, maybe near the bush/tree if there isn't too much piss by the FR stage if The Horrors are playing, on smuggled in booze. I couldn't really give a f**k about anyone playing but I'm sure MCR will put on a good show.
