if by secret/suprise you mean like TCV last year

i doubt that the organisers book these, i dont know about 2008 but in 2009 i reckon homme/grohl wanted to play the festival as the first major gig, homme plays like every year. in 2007 kaiser cheifs did a secret set at leeds because its their hometown. in my opinion, these bands will have approcahed the organisers, they will be paid but not as much as other slots as they arent a draw for festival tickets.

and for that reason, you cant guess these things..
