Good Clash/ Bad Clash

Was just thinking that actually, some of the clashes this year aren't that bad. Take, for example, Arcade Fire vs Pendulum. I know for a lot of people I know, it provides an 'escape route' from Arcade Fire and for me, it removes all those people who have no idea who AF are, so mutually beneficial, no? (Well done FR). However, I'm pretty pissed off bout Blink/Klaxons - I reckon Klaxons will be better live, but I think we all have a soft spot for Blink, no?

Yeah... any other good/bad clashes?

Arcade Fire clashing with Pendulum is a bit of a bummer, but I've seen Pendulum before. Plus if you intend to see the Libs, as I do, it might be a bit of a nightmare getting a spot for Pendulum after, tent will be rammed!

Arcade Fire and Pendulum Clash made me really happy.

Arcade Fire are not my scene at all, so Pendulum should be good.

Annoyed about The Libertines/Enter Shikari clash though...

The only two I have are Libertines and Enter Shikari and We Are Scientists and Paramore but they'll only be partial overlaps.

I think AF/Pendulum and B182/Klaxons are great clashes to ensure better nights at the main stage.

I don't like the assumption that people either like or don't know Arcade Fire. I know them very well just happen not too like them a great deal.

Like many here I'm liking the Arcade Fire/Pendulum clash as I have no desire to see Pendulum, and am hoping that it'll take a lot of people who could otherwise ruin the AF expereinece for me. That said I'll be down the front for AF which I hope will be full of like-minded people so it shouldn't have too much an effect anyways.

I'm not liking the Band of Horses/Foals and Weezer clash. Not really listened to much of Band of Horses stuff but they've popped up with great on two film soundtracks I've seen recently and I'm expecting to like them when I get round to listening to them, but realistically there's no chance that I miss Weezer.

I've always wanted to see Pendulum live, but Arcade Fire are one of my favourite bands, so that's the worst clash for me. Also, all my friends will be at Pendulum, it'll just be me and one other at AF. :\

I'd like to see Arcade Fire, but I think it's safe to say the majority of people will be at Pendulum.

Where as with Blink and Klaxons, I like both of them so i'm just going to follow my crowd and see which one they want to go to. But "apparently" MGMT are going to bump Klaxons down so they can headline, so it'd have to be MGMT in that case.

Thats the problem though. I have to watch Libs, but then it's a quick run to Pendulum and try and get to decent view point.

Seen Enter Shikari, they were really bad, while The Libertines , is a "must-see" of the festival.

I'm more worryed about Gogol Bordello - Two Door Cinema Club clash... hopefully, they'll finally don't play at the same time.

I dunno what to do with the AF and Pendulum clash... I will have seen Pendulum twice already this year before Reading, and I couldn't really get into Funeral. Hoping for something decent on the lockup stage but I'm kind of tempted to see what all the fuss is with AF...

I don't listen to the radio - I tend to listen to whatever music I have on my iTunes which is a lot... though, I've had to download shit loads just to catch up.
