Lithium05
The theory doesn't rule out Download bands though. Stone Sour would be cool, but the slot seems a bit low for them. If it is a Sonisphere band in terms of the right size for that slot: Papa Roach, Funeral For A Friend, Bring Me The Horizon, Lacuna Coil, Madina Lake and Fightstar would all fit. Arguably too big, but not impossible - Skunk Anansie, Alice in Chains, Slayer.
Lithium05
AIC would be the icing on the cake for me. But as you say the other bands seem more likely. On another note - How poor is the Sonisphere line-up?! No wonder it's selling so poorly! (In the first couple of months they'd only shifted around 2000 tickets apparently)

Lithium05
I'm fine with that, last year I got 2 camping tixs for £50 off ebay, hoping to do the same again this year. I've seen everyone worth seeing on the line up but would love to see Rammstein again, f**king brilliant at Wembley a few months ago.

Lithium05
I can't name my source, but apparently, despite the "free tickets to Soni Poland" offer that was running for the first fortnight, only a few hundred tickets were sold. As of mid march the figures were still well below the 10,000 mark. Whereas Download were pushing towards the 60,000 mark within the first month of release. Take with a pinch of salt as my source is affiliated with Download rather than Soni
ap3311
Papa Roach or AIC would be awesome. But lets face it, it's probably gonna be Fightstar...

SomeDay
Not a fan of this years lineup, if i'm honest the only band i would want to do Reading on the Soni lineup (being realistic) is Pendulum but.. they are already doing it, shame about it, after last years amazing lineup. it was a great weekend but this year doesnt make me want to buy a ticket. mrtourette
Apparently Sonisphere will be Alice In Chains' only UK 2010 gig.
