Welshyyy
i've only just downloaded their album today, and i actually think their are extremely talented.. sound abit of youmeatsix & alltimelow put together but better?, so don't call me a 'troll' or anything if you don't like this music, and like more heavier stuff.. but yeah enough of my ranting, what are the chances of these playing, due to the fact they sound so much like ymas and atl, i'd put them low mainstage.. but their to small i guess? so maybe really low on NME or lockup? please shine your wisdom on me of how big this band actually is, thats if you know thanks. Taylor.
It's such a same. If there anything like YMAS and all time low they can't be good. Them two bands I can guarantee that they will pull the smallest crowds of the weekend. If i'm wrong then it'll just be filled with 14-17 year old bel-end who have just gone to the festival because its 'cool' twats.
Welshyyy
Taylor, i agree with you for YMAS & ATL i've seen ymas live, good set, but loved the fact all the little kids who didn't know any words for 1 song, was pushed to the outsides and i think there was even around 20 year olds in the middle.. but yeah they will pull the smallest crowd i agree.. but not the festival can't aim for one sort of genre or music, or it'd be shit.. hence why it as all tastes? thats why i asked this question to people who might actually know the answer, not people who would just rip the piss out of me, or the question, no offence in anyway though & another thing i'm 17, but i don't think im cool and i'm not a twat, at Leeds i'll be acting like any other human, normal, and not causing any trouble. lolbeck
I wouldn't necessarily say YMAS and ATL will pull such small crowds - fact is they've been chosen for the festival and both bands are particularly popular at the moment, thus meaning they'll probably get decent-sized crowds. And it's not just "14-17 year old bel-ends" who like them either - I know an awful lot of fans of both bands at university, who aren't bellends, don't just like them because it's "cool", and who are all aged over 18, some even over 23. It's so close-minded of you to basically suggest that anyone who likes a different kind of music to you must be a bellend who only cares about what's cool and what's not. I like both bands, I heard ATL before they were even popular, so I definitely don't like them because they're cool. I didn't listen to YMAS for a long time after they became "cool", but a friend said I might like them, so I gave them a listen and I did. I can't understand why knobends like you reckon they know everything about the world - did it ever occur to you that maybe 14-17 year olds might want to go to the festival because they like the line-up? No, didn't think so. Prick. As for The Audition, they're bloody good. They're doing Slam Dunk so who's to know if they fancy anothe festival in the UK this year. It'd be nice to see them on a big stage.
