Rockness Competitions?

Hello all,

So after being a bit slow this year and not getting my Rocknes ticket with the payment plan, I have come to realise I can't afford a ticket.

This would be the only year since it was a 1 day fest that I have missed and i'm gutted.

Does anyone know of any comptetions to win some? I have tried google but most of them seem to be 09 comps.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear you can't make it. What about a local boozer or something like that? Either that on E-Bay but at a cheaper price.

*EDIT* Just read your message properly there, you don't have a ticket and your looking for one. Shit man, thats a bummer. I think I HART DIGITAL's Radio show on a friday night sometimes gives away free tickets so you may want to message him.

Nearer the time, they'll be up on ebay really cheap. Someonme can confirm/correct me on this but you can get them for 50% or under by doing this.

you could always work in the bars. free ticket in exchange for 2 x 6-9 hour shifts

You can usually get them cheaper on ebay but never seen them anywhere near 50% less. The last few years i ahve waited until about 3-4 weeks before and bought tickets . Including postage they were around £120 for 3 day camping. Another option may be to wait nearer the time to see if any offers available. Last year there was an o2 offer a few weeks before festival and pretty sure it was around 115 - 120 for full weekend. You had to buy through ticketmaster and put in a code which was eeasily found online. Mighht depend on ticket sales as think it was probably a last minute decision to boost sales.

Plenty competitions around May time so keep your eyes peeled, we won tickets in 2007/2008

Keep your eyes peeled for the two weeks before Rockness. There's a forum at my work and someone is always selling tickets dirt cheap...makes me feel sick! But there's no way I could wait that late to get my ticket.

Have you tried getting tickets via festival volunteer? www.festivalvolunteer.co.uk, you get a free ticket for working 2 shift over the weekend.
