V line up, is fantastic, how many acts do they think they can watch in one weekend anyway? Half of those facebook muppets probably ain't even been to a festival before

For me now Id watch over the weekend

Kings of Leon, The Prodigy, Stereophonics, Doves, Editors, Skunk Anasie, Air, eels, Madness, Passion Pit, Magic Numbers, Shed Seven, Divine Comedy, Kooks, Paul Weller, Courteeners, White Lies, Feeder, Faithless, Seasick Steve, Temper Trap, Florence, Kate Nash, Pet Shop Boys, Charlatans, Goldfrapp, Groove Armada, Magic Numbers and im sure im missing some more and I know I won't get chance to see all those, so im well happy with the line up this year.

this will be my first v, went reading last year and i give every band a fair chance so far for me i want to see KOL, Stereophonics, Faithless, Kasabian (although most likely see prodigy), passion pit, feeder, temper trap, kooks, courteeners, seasick steve, calvin harris, jamie t, scouting for girls, white lies, chase and status, example and others i like odd songs so i would if noone else was on gonna be a good fortnight for me

Just listened to Hurts, they sound pretty decent and will be BIG this time come August I imagine. BBC sound of poll always throws up huge artists over the year and Hurts were nominated.

Eels at V? That is just brilliant! Thinking outside the box is not something V do particularly well - but Novacaine for the Soul live? I cannot wait.

Also, really pleased with Magic Numbers - still one of the best mid-late afternoon feel good bands I've ever seen at a festival, shall enjoy a good sing along!

Not too fussed about the rest, but a good cross section none the less - some people's taste in music is very concerning - but I think it's more a sign of what sort of festival V has become over recent years.

Eels are a great American alternative band from the 90's - as an 18 year old then I loved them but never got to see them live. Have a listen....

Magic Numbers are a great live band - only about in the last 5 or 6 years (I think) - 2 albums, you'd probably know a lot of their stuff if you listened to it.

Saw Doctors are okay, but never really got into them - worth a listen though (don't know a lot about them).

Hurts - I know Jack about!

Line-up is fantastically diverse with something for pretty much everyone and with my eclectic tastes and relative open mind to music I will have a great time. I think most of the moaners are the 'we like Lady Gaga because everyone else does' brigade so they'll be disappointed whatever. I doubt they've even listened to anything not on a Now hits music (I think Radio 1 Live Lounge would be way out there) so how they can express distaste at bands they've never listened to I'll never know!

decent additions in my humble opinion, feeder are a classic festival band and will put out there well known songs with no thrills. will be a good way to get the day started.

magic numbers are one of my fave bands and love them to pieces, there first album is special.

diana vickers has a lovely cute voice so all is good.

like lucky says its a good lineup, for my tastes apart from the main stage headliners its totally up my street. but theres really strong headliners on the smaller stages, just a pity imogen heap,psb and prodigy all clash. seeing prodigy in july, just saw imogen and seeing her again in november so it might have to be some camp sing songs with psb....

I am the first to hold my hands up and say I wouldnt be back to V based on last years line up, and those of the years before. This was the 1st year I didnt get an early bird ticket in 8 years, but as soon as the inital line up was announced I was more than pleased to get a ticket, and the addtions since justify my decision. Hell if we have an boss in charge getting a line up like this, I will be buying an early bird ticket for next years V. The only let down for me......No QOTSA.
