Clashes!

Nothing too bad as of yet. I'd quite like to see both Serj and Dizzee but it wont exactly be a difficult choice if it comes down to it. Would have been nice to have got to see Klaxons as well but won't exactly be losing sleep over it...

The real killer would be if Sum 41, Andrew W.K. or Bad Religion got announced as Lockup headliners on the Friday/Sunday (the Saturday would be a DREAM!).

I'm just not fussed about them at all. I've been flitting between them and Pendulum for a while now, but no matter how much I listen to AF I just can't see what all the fuss is about, they're just not for me I think. I'll probably enjoy Pendulum, I like a fair few of their songs, they look good live and everyone I'm going with will be seeing them as well, but would prefer something genuinely good on the Saturday night.

It'll depend on the announcement for the Lock-Up stage at Reading. Assuming it's Friday and Saturday, the headliners could be a clash for me. I wouldn't be too upset to sacrifice seeing Guns 'N Roses depending who's headlining the Friday but the Saturday headliner could be a big clash as I'm really looking forward to seeing Pendulum again. If NoFX headline the lock-up on Friday, then I can just catch them on the main stage and still see GnR. But, in a way, I'm dreading to see who's announced for the Saturday!

I'm not sure if Biffy and Mumford will necessarily clash... Assume Guns 'n Roses are given the two hour slot, would mean they'd come on at 9. So QOTSA would be on 19.30ish, to play for an hour. That would mean Biffy on around 18.20 to play for 40 minutes?

On the NME stage, headliner tends to come on later, I think? So LCD, come on at 10. Means Pheonix come on 20.30 or 20.45ish, meaning that Mumford would come on around 19.20? So perhaps it's more likely if QOTSA clashed with Mumford..

Obviously, if this is assuming too much or any of it is wrong, correct me...

Yeah, talking about the biffy/mumford and sons clash. the times i have here are

Biffy Clyro 6:40-7:30

Mumford and Sons 7:45-8:35

thats assuming GnR get the 2 hour slot. It seems to me that Biffy clash with Delphic, while Mumford and Sons partly clash with the Queens.

So hopefully, my Friday night is looking like this

Biffy

Mumford and Sons

Phoenix

Possibly lockup/fr headliner, or go and see Guns.
