New Amplified stage - for unsigned acts

Ah this must be what they meant when they said that there was no Road to V this year but there was an exciting other opportunities or some blurb like that

A band on myspace called Outspoken Silence have self confirmed for it, saying its an unsigned stage, there also say they're playing the same stage at Reading the following week.

Should be good, might get some decent acts. Was having a chat to the singer of Egyptian Hip Hop earlier, said they weren't playing. So V, BOOK THEM!

So many amazing acts on this weekend that I will be unlikely to go there sadly. They're good for if nobody else is on and I saw some great stuff on Intro at Reading last year, although generally would go to the 4th stage, ie. Festival Republic or Mobile Union stages.

Great move...definately looks like they're trying to move back to how V used to be...I remember they had a new acts stage a few years ago (although Tim Booth played it!) and I caught the likes of Dead 60's...brilliant stuff
