we're hoping we can get accepted to do some this year, we have asked but are just waiting for approval!

It would be VERY foolish not to have at least the headliners booked for the lockup tent at this point. So im thinking they are out the running...

I'd agree it makes them less likely, wouldn't say it rules them out though, guess we'll see when the lockup's announced! Do we know when the lockup headliners are usually booked by? I always got the impression they were left a lot later than the rest.

Id have thought they'd be booked later, but not this late... Some band have anounced tours, they aint going to keep reading and leeds weekend open jsut incase they get asked to play...

If they want to play that badly I'm sure they'd settle for 2/3rd. Maybe even a cheeky mainstage slot although that's more than likely already been finalised?

Not a risky booking, but no contract means if they get offered anouther gig that day they dont have to play reading and leeds.

If they havent been booked, i doubt they are the headliners. And i doubt they'd play under anyone, but who knows.

They dont have to play lockup, they could play NME or early main stage like SB6 did last year.

but if he they werent confirmed why wouldnt they have been vague in the first place
