Desmond 48
Just been thinking about the past V Festivals I've been to ('08 & '09) and I thought I'd come up with the top ten acts I saw and ask you guys to do the same; 1) Muse '08- Just an all around incredible performance. 2) Killers '09 3) Stereophonics '08 4) Snow Patrol '09 5) Elbow '09 6) Oasis '09 7) Lenny Kravitz '08 Verve '08 9) Kings of Leon '08 10) Athlete '
Taylor.
0 - as it's my first time at V festival. I'm not expecting it be on par with Leeds though.
Desmond 48
For me, Leeds was better than V in '08 but V was better in '09.

j...rox
Only been to 08 but for me the best performance that year was The Verve probably followed by Stereophonics. Other notable ones include Tokyo Police Club, Little Man Tate, Lenny Kravitz and Maximo Park from that year.

binkibonko
mmmmmmm it's hard to decide, like you i have been only 08 and 09 .....this isn't a top 10 in order ....sorry guys I reckon Prodigy are way up there for their 08 performance... The Killers last year Pigeon dectectives were pretty amazing in 08 Wombats was a good time last year ...as was Dizzee Rascal o wait The Kaisers in 08 in the rain...they were awesome! Thought the kooks was a good sing along in 08 as well, also classicly drunk luke telling everyone to sit down half way through the set! As were Scouting for girls! Travis and Hot chip in 08 .....travis lead singer dropped his wedding ring half way through flowers in the window and hot chip was a great rave Last year GaGa was top notch! took me by suprise how good she was! The streets was awesome too And over both the last two years seeing bits of calvin harris, he always seems to having everyone dancing! Might actually get to see his set this year! Although seeing him at the UEA last year was something that won't be forgotten! Anyway yer not sure how many acts that is lol but those were my highlights over the last two years i reckon! .....but the hunt for a ticket goes on unfortunately

kiltedwarrior
1. Manics (2002) - only saw them cause Travis pulled out, just brilliant 2. Strokes (2004) 3. Faithless (2004) - late afternoon spot and the most rammed I'd ever seen the main stage at that time of the day 4. Kasabian (2006) - cant wait for them this year 5. Foos (2007) - both sets (especially the acoustic one as 606) 6. Human League (2004) - went to watch 15 mins for nostalgia sake and ended up there for their whole set missing Keane in the process 7. Phonics (2008) - so much better than Muse who followed(who really disappointed me as I thought they were ace at Wembley) 8. Ting Tings (2007) - friend told me to watch them as he said they were going to be big 9. Paulo Nutini (2006) - a good fun set 10. Aqualung (2004) - a lovely chilled afternoon In no particular order the above but the worst by far have been the KOL both times - excellent albums but they are just wasted on stage all the time ..........oh!! they're playing this year....bollox. james915
1. Foo Fighters 2007 - the best live music set I've ever seen. Unbeatable. 2. Snow Patrol 2009 - you don't realise how much you love them until you see them at a festival, and they love V 3. Oasis 2009 - what a setlist of anthems... their last ever gig. 4. Stereophonics 2008 - so good live, totally outplayed Muse in my opinion 5. Dizzee Rascal 2009 - the sound of that summer 6. James Morrison 2006 - played a tiny stage but was pure class 7. The Verve 2008 - the atmosphere was electric. And it POURED down... 8. Bloc Party 2006 - at the peak of their powers, a fantastic live band 9. Shed Seven 2009 - as good as they've ever been 10. Ladyhawke 2009 - the arena was bouncing 2010 set to be a CRACKER
