rail cards

Where do you live? Only asking because the Network Railcard is available to pretty much the entire southern network (from Exeter to Kent and as far north as...hold on...Map!

It can be quite restrictive BUT it can also still get you the decent third off travel if you pick the right train route, ticket company, pricing and other factors. I have got decent use out of mine since I turned the wrong side of 26 but I did actually get one for a further year by getting my sister to get a renewal YP card which I blagged as my own! :P Cheeky!

The Network Card does NOT work on every trainline and sometimes not even on certain Southern lines but its worth the investment if you live within the big region and maek at least 2 or 3 festival train trips in the summer and obviously useful outside of this time! Duh!

A £27 ticket from Reading to deepest East Sussex became £17 the other day for me.

Hmm...just noticed your location. Not such an option is it. Next suggestion...get yourself on a course between now and the big G and become a student!
