Plugs

Hi all,

This year i have decided to take my video camera. The battery life is not the best so i was wondering if there are any tents dotted around that you can use a 13a socket to charge your gear. I know there is the orange tent where you can charge your mobiles but i never saw if they had a 13a socket kicking about. This will also be my 9th year and REALLY am looking forward to it! Hopefully the weather stays quite placid.

Cheers

I have a sony camcorder and the battery I got with it wasn't brilliant on the battery life so I bought a higher capacity one of e-bay which lasts ages- it's much bigger than the other one which makes it look a bit odd but hey it works

That may work??

Most stalls do have normal three pin sockets except as they mainly use outdoor sockets each socket has a hinged cover on it so while a normal plug will fit it a Combined plug and transformer will not.

the big problem is trying to convince a stall holder as they really don't have the time to watch over your equipment so you would have to leave it there at your own risk and you will have to negotiate a fee.

The press Room { backstage Compound } has normal wall sockets in the portacabin's so that is also a option if you know someone with a guest pass.
