HoTrOdDeR
Hi all... just to make sure your all aware (I know, it says it in the terms and conditions but im guessing like me you skim the details and could quite easily miss this) once you have entered the site for the day you cannot leave and re enter (like you can at every major festival i have been to). The electronic wrist bands apparently only allow one entry per day (even though it would be easy to adapt the system to allow users to come and go). I guess its probably so we can just be ripped off by the overpriced vendors inside as they have a captive audience who have no choice but to buy their stuff. We cant take in any food or drinks (not even non alcoholic soft drinks), so if we are to eat we must buy food onsite, and they can charge us what they like as we have no other options... Surely that is against the anti competitve behaviour laws. eg. Chapter I of the CA98 and Article 81 prohibit agreements between businesses that prevent, restrict or distort competition or are intended to do so and which affect trade in the UK and/or EU.Agreements likely to be prohibited include those which fix the prices to be charged for goods or services. gdpreston
This seems to be standard at most events in London - all the Victoria Park ones are the same, think the Hyde Park ones are as well

rivalschools.price
thats a bloody disgrace... what if you got young uns etc? Hoping to go..but that really is a bummer. I can maybe understand the drink issue..but the food thing is simply wrong..and not to be able to leave... so if your wife gets knocked over and killed... you wouldn`t be able to get back in. That really is shite...and the only logic would be to stop you going for a pint and something tpo eat elsewhere. Not right or fair that. den
gratedenini
but surely if your wife was knocked over and killed the funeral wouldnt be until the following thursday at least so there would be no need to leave the festival.
