Never happened to me yet but I recall horror stories a couple of years ago about the polis stoppin random motors on the A9 and goin through the whole car like a f**king hurricane, rippin everything out the motor and layin it on the roadside etc etc.

Anyone ever heard about this happening last year?

It's just that i'm an illegal immigrant and if there's a chance of gettin pulled over I'll just get the train instead.. :P:P

yup my m8 got stopped on fort william road but he had a smashed light so gave em an excuse. Also on the fort william road on the friday morning they were pulling 5 cars over at a time asking u if u were going to festival, doing warrant check and taking details and asking if u had anything in car u shouldnt have. oh and that if u got caught at festy and u said no here this would go against ye.

Honestly.....is there any need!! I mean warrant checks and all that jazz!! pisses ye off when ur innocent!

My friends went up thursday without a peep and my hubby came up oan friday night without a peep - shame for everyone who gets discriminated against.

Whats even funnier is that last year I got the Ferry over from Larne to Troon before driving up to Inverness, I was proper bricking it because I had quite a few class A's and a decent amount of smoke on my person and in my bag, and with the head I have on me I usually get pulled up for that type of thing (always snared at the airport etc).

However we breezed through and not so much as 1 question asked of us or the motor. I was shocked to say the least, there was literally no checks involved at all, either end, and I would have thought ferries across the Irish sea would be fairly strict with their procedures. Needless to say I was f**king chuffed!

The paranoia won't be at the same level now when I get the Ferry over this time round! :P

Rexclark - It was around 11am when we were getting the bus. Citylink coaches. It was chaos, with loads of buses just filling up and going, and the dogs in amongst all the people hunting around.

The dogs were hungry - I'd made ham rolls for myself and my sis in case we got hungry on the journey up and they searched my bag because they couldn't drag the dog away from it.

inside and outside the festival; do the dogs sniff for weed or harder drugs?

Where did the every 5th car info come from? I've never been pulled on the way to or from and neither has anyone I know.

Also last year they ran a dog along a line of people that a couple of us were standing in after meeting people off the bus and nobody got searched. We had stuff on us the dog should have picked up :P
