Of course it is. I'm merely disagreeing with you. As - I'm sure - will most other people. If you're right, feel free to come on here on July 12th with a satisfied, smug grin. :P

As far as I'm concerned, Spain are the favourites and rightly so. I'm looking forward to watching them too.

So two of the bookies favourites and on form teams in the world have 'no chance' of winning it in your opinion.

Even though it is your opinion .. The 'no chance' is wrong as all 32 teams have a chance, and England and Spain have much more chance than Algeria, North Korea and the likes.

So your opinion is actually wrong.

To say England and Spain will not win the cup is one thing and is an opinion.........to say neither have a chance is plain stupidity! :P

Every country at the finals has a "chance" weather that chance is big or small........the fact that they are there gives them a chance. If you dont understand that then I am sorry.......you will just have to accept it.

ireland, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales have "no chance" of winning it..........

See the logic?

On another note, if Heskey gets on the plane and Darren Bent doesnt, then that really is criminal.

Bent has 25 goals in 39 games this season.

Heskey has 4 goals in 41 games (although he has been a substitute on a regular basis)

Capello has said from day 1 that he will take who is in form, and quite clearly it is easy to see that Heskey's goal ratio is embarrassing. Ashley Cole has 5 goals this season, and he is a left back who was injured for two months !!

I know he holds the ball up well, and plays well with Rooney, but hehas only 7 goals in 57 games for England. If he plays it basically loses us a striker, and heaps too much pressure on Wayne to deliver.

He shouldnt be in the squad, let alone anywhere near the starting line up.

All 32 teams in the competition have the same statistical chance of winning.

However, IYO, you believe England and Spain have a better chance of winning than Algeria and North Korea. Which is no different to me saying that Spain or England have no chance. Both are opinions.

It's only stupidity if you believe England and Spain do have a chance of winning. If you don't believe they do, it's not stupid at all. To me, it's not stupid at all.

What is stupid to me is confusing 'weather' and 'whether'. I'm sure to others, that's not stupid at all.

That is very true. I got that one wrong!

Still, if you're going to be a fair sportsmen, you'll mention the other things I said about Wolves and acknowledge I was right...

Since the World Cup began in 1930, there have only been 7 countries that have won it:

Brazil - 5 times

Italy - 4 times

Germany - 3 times

Argentina - 2 times

Uruguay - 2 times

France - 1 time

England - 1 time

So this eqaul chance of every team winning that you suggest, how come this is the case?

Equal chance would have caused a shock somewhere along the line.

Chile

Ghana

Paraguay

Cameroon

Uruguay

Denmark

Nigeria

Australia

South Africa

Greece

Switzerland

South Korea

Slovakia

Slovenia

Japan

Algeria

Honduras

Korea DPR

New Zealand

And, you think any of these can realistically win it?

And you've so confidently ruled Spain and England out. Hmmmmm ...
