Thats if you drink a lot at the bars...

2 meals bought per day = £20 (bring one meal per day i.e snack bars fro breakfast)

the festival guide thing = £10

then £30 on booze (roughly 3 pints per day in the arena. I don't drink much in the arena however)

that tops out at £100 and id say you could do it for less.

It can be done cheaply, just depends on your budget!

For commercial festivals like this I take about £50 per day, for smaller ones like Bearded Theory this weekend I will take about £30 per day.

£150 should see you straight man, £50 a day will easily cover food, pints and other random shit e.g. hats, shades, t-shirt etc.

With booze and breakie back in your tent thats all your gona need.

That reminds me, I need to buy some Sterling, bastard Euro is weak as a jakeys bladder at the moment though :P

i've spent less than £20 at a festival before and have spent about £200 at others. whatever you can afford to take, you'll manage on it if you have your own booze and food and you're not too bothered about buying t shirts etc.

i usually take about £170, and spend most of it. i like a cold pint of cider so buy quite a lot of booze and usually end up buying daft stuff like sunglasses and hats. :P

it's nice to be able to take loads of money and know you've got enough to buy whatever you like. but festivals can be done on the cheap. :P

I take about £100 and usually come back with plenty change, but that's because I mostly drink what i've brought and only buy a few drinks a day from the bars. Same with food, maybe buy one or two meals. If it's your first i'd go with the £50 a day and a bit more to be sure rule!
