Guns N’ Roses have postponed their concerts in Zagreb and Belgrade (scheduled for June 20 and 22, respectively) until September.

According to sources in the Serbian capital, the new date of the concert at the Belgrade Arena hasn’t been specified yet, but it is likely to be September 22, 23 or 24, depending on decisions from GN’R’s management.

The date for the rescheduled gig in Zagreb (which is in Croatia, geography fans) is not yet known.

However, there are rumours circulating in Eastern Europe that GN’R’s entire European tour will be postponed until September.

Guns are due to begin their European tour with a date in Norway on May 31. They are booked to play the Reading and Leeds festivals on August 27 and 29, respectively.

In other news, Axl Rose is suing his former manager Irving Azoff for a minimum of $5 million, claiming that Azoff did everything possible to engineer a reunion of the original Guns N’ Roses line-up.

The singer alleges that Azoff tried ‘”devising and implementing a secret plan to set up Rose and the band for failure so that Rose would have no choice but to reunite with the original Guns N’ Roses members”.

Axl says Azoff resigned as manager on the eve of a major world tour, but still tried to claim commissions that he’d never earned.

I doubt they'll pull out tbh, if they did they'd lose what shred of credibility they have left and would likely never be booked for a major festival ever again. I wouldn't be disappointed if Blur replaced them, but I've never seen GnR before.

"What I think would happen is libertines would be moved to headline that day instead. "

So they'd move up the 2nd most reliable band in the world to replace the champions of messing people about.

Personnally am really looking forwards to GNR and the Libertines but we could end up with QoTSA or Biffy headlining at this rate :P

From a business perspective why would the organisers pay big bucks to get in another band when the festival is sold out. They can just push someone up and come out with the line that there wasnt time to replace and pocket the money. The only thing they would worry is if it would effect next year sales but in all honesty I think most festival goers will go regardless of the line up.

Im gonna be mightily pissed if they pull out. The line up is great without them... but they are just the icing on the cake. And for me the best headliners out of the three by miles.

I'd imagine R+L would call in a favour from Mr Grohl/Albarn if GnR live up to their reputation
