i can see mgmt dropping off the radar in the next year if that new single they've got out is a taster of the album, not got the hooks and they seem to be shunning the "mainstream" which isn't going to work if you don't have the tunes to back it up.

The new album is nothing like the debut but from what I have heard about the band they were never really looking for commerical success and were going to split up before it did so well. I would watch them as long as they didnt play much new stuff.

Unless your point was the Bezza18 thinks most bands are crap live, which I wouldn't know if he did or not, then no, I don't really see your point.
