At Leeds:

Friday is pretty sweet for me... although I'm gonna be on my own for most of it

Saturday is meh for me... apart from Limp/Cypruss and Weezer. Hoping a good FR headliner comes up

Sunday is main stage heaven :P

Like I said on another thread; I beg to differ.

After going to Big Weekend where I knew none of the bands and thoroughly enjoyed myself, I thought it might be wise to go in not expecting anything and make the most of my Leeds experience for what it's worth - won't over-complicate, won't over-analyse; I'll just go and enjoy myself.

Happiness in relation to the line-up is irrelevant - you MAKE yourself happy with it and have a good time.

At Leeds:

Friday: Indie day which doesn't fuss me but Lock-up fills in the gaps very nicely and AF=(Y) (8/10)

Saturday: Awesome! Love the mainstage and good Dance acts while Paramore are on :P (9/10)

Friday: Perfect expect for lack of an appealing headliner atm (9/10)

friday - mainstage is fantastic, as is the latter part of nme.

saturday - as its my first reading, and im seeing loads of bands on friday, gonna watch rolo tomassi then wander around for a couple of hours and check some smaller stages out. just generally gives me a chance to wander, and then cant wait to see get up kids and arcade fire.

sunday - mainstage is great, will probably be there most of the day.

Early Friday I'll likely be a bit bored, but the second half more than makes up for that (in fact having reread the lineup I'll probably be sorted from Gogol onwards actually looks like a pretty strong day). QOTSA into GnR is going to be simply incredible! Saturday is a bit meh imo, with the few bands I actually want to see likely to clash and I still haven't made up my mind on a headliner (leaning towards Pendulum atm, why oh why couldn't Alkaline Trio have been on the Sat?). Sunday is looking like one of the single best days the festival has ever produced and I'm unlikely to venture far from the mainstage. Would have liked to check out the dance stage later on but I'll probably end up having to watch Paramore to camp a decent spot for Blink...

Bands I absolutely must see:

GnR

Blink

QOTSA

Limp Bizkit

Lostprophets

Bands I'm fairly excited about:

Gogol Bordello

Serj

Dizzee Rascal (if he doesn't clash with Serj)

Pendulum/Arcade Fire (whichever one I end up choosing)

Cancer Bats

Rolo Tomassi

Weezer

Cypress Hill

Thrice

Bands I'll probably end up seeing:

Futureheads

Paramore (for Hayley and maybe a drunken singalong)

Billy Talent

NOFX

Modest Mouse

Libertines (I'll watch what's left after Cancer Bats)

Clashes:

Dizzee/Serj

GnR/Alkaline Trio (the only one I'm really gutted about. Love Alkaline Trio and never seen them, but it's GnR! Say what you want about them, but I for one am ridiculously excited).

Klaxons/Blink

Libertines/Cancer Bats

Kele/Cypress Hill

Looking at it the lock-up doesn't really appeal to me as much as last years did, and the dance stage is a bit weak for me, with the exception of Metronomy, Sub Focus & Rusko. However the main stage on Friday (Reading) is ridiculously strong and on Saturday the NME tent is looking pretty good too with KIGH, Crystal Castles, Shikari and Pendulum. Sunday could be stronger, but other than that I'm looking forward to it. :P

Friday: 8/10

Saturday: 9/10

Sunday: 7/10

Im very happy with every day, I'll be spending alot of time at the Main Stage which I haven't did in years, not really excited about the Radio 1 stage though, still hoping for a good few acts on the FR Stage.
