Which Headliners will you be watching?

It depends, if blink played all the small things early I could see a bit of an exodus. If they are sensible they will leave it untill last. As for klaxons I agree they are a poor choice of nme headliner as I see them as a band like the view who will rise and fall just as quick. Maybe the new album will prove me wrong. This board is pop/punk friendly so they will probably get more than people think, but certainly wont be tentfillers. Not sure about the logic about putting pendulum on the blink 182 day. I would say arcade fire are as popular as blink 182 and guns and roses more popular. Pendulum have to play one day, which one doesnt make a difference in my opinion.

For many, Pendulum probably are, which would see a better crowd distribution on the Sunday night. Klaxons would also get a much better crowd against Arcade Fire, who aren't as radio friendly, so not as much of a draw for some. As it is, the tent's probably going to be ridiculously rammed for Pendulum, and I'm glad I've got no interest in seeing them.

Only going Saturday and definitely watching Arcade Fire - would watch LCD Soundsystem and a bit of Blink and most of Roots Manuva probably though.

I haven't seen anyone on this board, and not just this thread, express any interest in going to see Klaxons. I know this board isn't paticularly representative of the festival as a whole, but with them clashing with Blink 182, who will draw away many of the people who would be likely to see them, I can see the tent being pretty dead for them.

Yeah, bear in mind I was 13 when I got it, I probably didnt care they had previous albums haha, so id only heard a few songs from them

fair enough. I guess there are albums that just take you back to a certain time and are great because of that. if you really like it it's definately worth checking out Good Mourning and from here to infirmary. Private Eye, Mr Chainsaw, Armageddon, Stupid Kid, Old School Reasons, We've had enough, this could be love are the first songs that stand out. then I got into the rest of the albums and totally love just about every song. the setlist from the London and nottingham shows were greatest hits with a couple of random stuff off very early albums and 3-4 off the new album. should get similar - the above plus radio, warbrain and a misfits cover

Friday: Tough one. BR have gone downhill, Arcade Fire just aren't my thing, and Pendulum will be mental. Voted BR out of sympathy but it could end up being any of them.

Saturday: Blink, although largely by default.

Sunday: Alkaline Trio. Sure, I want to see GnR, but I don't think they'll show up. And even if they do, I don't think they'll be onstage for very long.

not particularly into any of the saturday headliners, probably Klaxons but Blink might be really special.

definitely LCD Soundsystem, maybe fit in the first half of GnR
