Dibford and Son
How excited am I??!! Been watching the forum as usual daily for some months waiting until I couldn't contain myself any longer. Is it me or does this years line up have much much more strength in depth? I absolutely cannot wait to see Modest Mouse, Wilco, New P's, Elliott Brood, The Antlers( album of the year 2009 for me),Iron and Wine( had to give 2 tickets away 2 years ago 'cos work got in the way), The Mountain Goats, Low Anthem - again, Wolf Parade, Smoke Fairies, Freelance Whales, Django Django, loads of others and most excitingly of all Woodpigeon who's albums I have had on constant repeat for the last few weeks and getting so frustrated 'cos I couldn't believe that they were not playing EOTR, being on the label and all. Anyway I think i'm getting a bit too carried away now, just how good is this gonna be and starting on Thursday night as well!!

Dibford and Son
My Spotify account has taken a bit of a hammering recently as I get to grips with all the bands that I have never heard of. Today I am mostly liking, The Ruby Suns, Stagecoach( a bit more poppy than most but a good listen anyway), Ra Ra Riot and Wintersleep( who remind a bit of The Go Betweens - anyone have a view?), and finally Adam Green, he sounds like he could be great live as well. It's getting better by the day!!
im dracula
Ben Ottewell is really nice. I got to sing 'whippin' piccadilly' with him when he played my town after he refused to sing it himself.
Kilian
It's incredible that you got Ra Ra Riot to play EotR. According to the list of tourdates it's their only show in Europe! That's absolutely awesome! :-) Edited June 26, 2010 by Kilian
alfie672
just realised fuzzy lights have been added to the already outstanding bill!
