got married, now name doesn't match ticket!

If you only got married recently then surely she still has some of her old ID?

Taking a photocopy of the Marriage certificate where by the way?

You don't need to take any ID to the festival. A ticket with her photo on is enough and they wont have a clue that her name's changed since.

Haha, good good! I think 04 was the last year photo ID was required but i could be wrong. After the photos started going on the tickets in 05(?) I think they stopped asking for anything else.

We also got married since booking the tickets and had the same problem! Congrats! :D We phoned see/glasto and they said to bring new id plus a photocopy of the marriage certificate - as ID can still randomly be asked for.

I've been every year since the photos have been on the tickets and I or anyone in our group of friends and family have never been asked for further I.D of any kind...I love a bit of Glasto Panic...And Breathe, Think Calm, Deep Blue Sea...

The idea that you have your mugshot on the photo was so that you didn't have to bring further ID and risk losing it.

Just say you don't have any, or take a bank card / old statement with your old name on it.

You'll be able to recite the address off the ticket off by heart.

Last year a friend dropped out and another friend used his ticket, they didn't even check the ticket properly and he got in no problems.

Were you all able to produce any id or do you know what would happen if you couldn't? As far as I understood it the fact that there's photo of you on the ticket should be adequate.

I never take any id with me to Glasto. Is there a chance I could be turned away if they asked for it and I was unable to show any?

I'm not worried as i'll just make a point of taking some this year but I am curious as to what would happen after what's been said in this thread.
