Memory Man
Hi thereIf you're in the same boat as me and STILL waiting for tickets this is the gist of a conversation i've just had with Skiddle customer service:Basically I wanted to get them made box office collection as they still have not received them from the promoter and there is no way i'm going to be able to sign for them now as i work. They couldnt do that today, however they did stress that their last posting day for the event would be Monday anyway. So i've to ring back monday morning to express that i want them to be held box office collection, and she also said that if the ticket batch does not arrive into their offices for posting on monday ALL tickets orded via Skiddle for Rockness will be made box office collection.Basically if you're still waiting for tickets from any agent I would call them to check if your tickets are being sent or if they are getting made box office collection. And i'd advise that as of Monday 7th June it is very likely anyone still awaiting tickets will need to collect at the box office. And i will be asking for my £4.95 special delivery refunding as well. Memory Man
Skiddle have always been ok with me. They do email tickets for Wickerman and they've been fine. Pity they didn't do that for Rockness, would've saved the grief, not having your ticket in hand a week before a festival is pathetic. msr
It isn't skiddles fault that the promoter hasn't provided the tickets Must be a nightmare not knowing when they'll turn up though!
irons
i will be demanding mine back. It is ridic not to have the tickets by now but i dont solely blame them, cos they havent had them from the promotor. stupid that ticketline have clearly had theirs but some other agents have not.poor organisation all round. once ive got my ticket i can happily get excited!! benseb
Hi guysI just wanted to give you a quick update from our endThe promoter for each event dictates which delivery method must be used for sending out tickets, in this case special delivery. It is then normal practise for one main outlet (ticketline I believe) to be in charge of all ticket printing - for their own sales and to provide other outlets with tickets. This is to avoid security issues with lots of different ticket types so we cannot unfortunately print our own.We should have received our tickets 2 weeks ago but despite *lots* of chasing, nothing arrived. The organisers have apologised and blamed a new system at the primary outlet causing delays on sending other agents their tickets. I. Can't say if this is definately the reason for the delay or not but we were certainly affected. As such we put into place a collections procedure as we realise most people travel far to get to RockNess and last minute postage would be a nightmare. I have been talking to the box office to ensure everything runs smoothly. All customers have been emailed full details and I will be at the event incase of any issues We have also put extra staff on phones to help any customers who need clarificationI have also asked for all postage to be refunded on ALL orders, so you wont be paying a penny. To be honest a complete pain, but we've hopefully done all we can to eliminate any more problems.I must add that we've sold for RockNess for a few years now and this is the first issue we've had getting tickets so hopefully a one off.BenDirectorSkiddle
