Download Headliners

As it's just a week before Download would you swap one (or more) of our headliners for any of Downloads. For me it would be a bit of a toughie, as I would've gone to Download for the headliners if the rest of the line up wasnt so weak. Thoughts?

Its funny, my muic tastes are very indie orientated but would swap all 3 download headliners for the reading/leed ones. Not many other bands i would swap though.

Yeah I'm like that I really like their 3 headliners, Motorhead & TCV then theres little else I'd listen to in the line up.

Id swap Blink for ACDC, cause I saw ACDC last year and they were incredible, Then in an ideal world would have RATM as well, with arcade fire underneath them though not to bothered as im seeing rage tomorrow

I think both have something to offer. Download is very much the tried and tested, the gigs'll be amazing but the bands (esp. ACDC and Aerosmith) will have done it tons of times before. With Blink and Arcade Fire Reading/Leeds could be defining moments in their careers, more of a gamble but the potential to be more special.

only guns for acdc, having arcade fire on the saturday makes the nme/main decision a lot easier so i wouldnt want rage or aerosmith that night, and blink are just epic

I'd swap Arcade Fire with Aerosmith so I could watch Stone Sour at Download and Aerosmith at Reading... Or alternatively I'd swap Stone Sour for Pendulum.

For me Arcade Fire are the best band in the world so there a no go.. Im seeing rage tonight so no need to swap there... Id swap Blink for ACDC and that would be it.. Aerosmith irrotate me.. Well Steve Tyler anyways !!! But Reading owns in all other departments

It just AC/DC and Aerosmith are a lot higher on my favourite bands than Blink or Arcade Fire.

Ratm played reading recently (plus i saw em yesterday at finsbury park) and i saw aerosmith at hyde park. AC/DC are still on my list of bands to see.
