I like both Mario AND Sonic.

Mario > Sonic, but I like both. And I was a Megadrive owner, not a SNES. Or a NES.

However, Sonic can't touch Mario 64 or the immense Mario Galaxy. The only thing I miss about selling my Wii. And I want the sequel.

Mario done well is incredible. Sonic done well is pretty good.

Galaxy ROCKS mate. It's the only Wii game I've played that REALLY utilises the controller.

I remember being astounded at Mario 64, but Galaxy surpasses that IMHO. Pure gaming brilliance. Give it a go if you can.

I never liked Sonic, however I was brought up on Super Mario Bros (the NES was my first console) and never owned anything by Sega - but despite that, it just seemed to me that it was all about the speed and 'ooh, look at the parallex scrolling - Mario doesn't do that!' ... and collecting rings!? What the hell are the rings all about!?
