Dobrudden was a decent campsite (although freezing) last year. Its on top of a hill, we pitched our tents and got the wind full on at us all night! Was about £6-8 in a cab, or 40 mins walk, which was ok around lunch time on one of the days

Be coming to this again, Buzzcocks, James, Ash, Seasick Steve, Frightened rabbit, Sound of Guns all for £30... i know theres more but these stand out to me. Bargain!

Hope the toilet/bar queue issues are resolved from last year though, there was plenty of surveys done so i'd assume so

This fest was looking really good until I read that we`d have to pay £30 for a 4yr old, 5yr old and 11yr old...suddenly becomes far less attractive. And with no camping...looks more like a Day Trippers event.

Stayed at, I think, Riverside last year. There was a bit of hanging out around a small fire but not much really. Worth remembering that these are proper campsites, there's likely families on a holiday/weekend away so the owners weren't keen on parties in the site - fair enough I guess.

Last year however, there were a couple of after parties in nearby towns. Seem to recall people getting the train to Bradford for a do at Tokyo. I think there was a club night in Bingley itself too.

Think that we also will be staying at Dobrudden cos it's the closest - so less to pay in taxi fares ;) Although we still need to phone up and make the booking - which I assume is recommended? We'll be on the look at for fellow festie-goers on the campsite - and for any folks up for a taxi share :) Only 4 days now - can't wait! :D:D:D

Hmmm, looks like taxis are the least of our problems now - been phoning campsites in the area for the past hour or so - and all of them are full - help! :(

If you quote Bingley Music Live, they have a special deal - comes to £43 a night for a double room with breakfast - which I don't think is bad for a Holiday Inn - plus it's next to the station, so you save money going by train rather than taxi ;) You need to be quick, though, because, as of Tuesday, they only had 3 double rooms left for the Saturday night! Failing that, according to the tourist board, the Ibis in Shipley are charging £47 per night (but I didn't phone them, so I don't know all the details).
