Kris Reid
By the sounds of things..I think its just a ferris wheel. Which, is quite a nice wee touch to the festival really.Like you said, there will be awesome views to be seen from the top!

Kowalski
Apparently the first 6 carriages on the big wheel are for VIP ticket holders, the next 8 carriages are for front row ticket holders only, and the remaining are for cattle class. smutchie
I'm not a huge fan of heights, but would go on a big wheel purely for the views! I think it's a great idea But they should definitely draw the line there, no more please!

Elbear
Passed today. The big wheel is up the top of the hill, looking onto the main stage and loch. Doesn't look like there will be any other amusement things put up.
rexclark
I really like the Big wheel at TITP, we once watched Joe Strummer briefly from the top of it. With the views at Rockness it will be amazing!glad they don't have any other rides, they just take up space and make a shit load of noise. Chemical_Bex
I just drove past about 2 hours ago, and right in front of me was a big lorry carrying a ride with loads of arms or summit on it Didn't really want there to be any other rides. smutchie
Ahh that's where I thought. I think the big wheel will be good.
Perratt
Can't argue with a big wheel given the scenery the festivals set amongst but in terms of other rides I can't see them fitting in well given the size of the arena last year, unless it's been increased that is. Doesn't bother me too much to be honest, never been on a ride at a festival but each to their own and all that jazz, so long as it doesn't interfere with any of the stages.
