Anyone can make a simple mistake between the 3 Th(ei/ere/ey're)s, but "these band" is unforgivable.

Mother Firefly – Good band; bit sketchy at times but you could develop and you have a good sound. Would be a good idea to get a layout for your MySpace page though

Apollo’s Basement – Dislike the name of the band, the layout for your page is amateurish and I’m really not keen on the music. It’s sort of middle of the road, student indie bullshit, isn’t it?

The thing is it's true. Anybody can give constructive criticism but when you comment or give an opinion it sounds more like an insult. Maybe you don't mean it but it really seems that way to me.

Well... hmmm... no, not really. I wish all of the bands who have been promoted on this thread the best of luck, with the exception of Scholars. I don't think there's any harm in pointing out flaws in any band. If they were perfect we'd be asking for them to headline Leeds. Personally I think it's encouraging to know that there are a lot of bands (good and bad) out there playing music they have written rather than holeing themselves up in their bedrooms being anti-social and wasting their money on bullshit like Guitar Hero or Rock Band.
