Isn't it about £600 a year to watch Sky?

Free in the pub...

Plus boycotting matches is exactly what thousands of fans did at UP over the bond scheme.

If football fans really got together, boycotted games, boycotted Sky, boycotted merchandise etc, something would get done.

Sadly that won't happen.

Easy to say but a lot harder in practice. With my club for example, tickets are next to impossible to get hold of for most games, and the odd ones that are available cost an awful lot of cash. The only way I can watch Arsenal play on a relatively regular basis is to have Sky. To follow through with your idea would mean that as I truely love the game (and I do) I'd have to give up seeing my team play.

Not quite correct. More accurately, it's anyone with a Sky subscription, armchair fan, avid attending supporter, whatever.

To anyone who truly loves the game rather than just their club, bin your Sky subscription.

Yeah, through foreign channels that have paid for the match, many of which are supplied by Sky - PL matches at 3pm on a Saturday are provided to foreign channels through the people that are producing Match Choice for Sky to show on a Saturday night, which is why they have English commentary.

There is no 100% legal way to get these games free, the pubs are either buying the card or are cardsharing, i'd be interested to hear how it can be done free and legal??

With a 1 year old at home, trips to the pub are a rare beast indeed. A boycott would also only really work if the whole of europe did it, all the talented players would look to leave to better paid leagues otherwise.

yep, but they pay peanuts for those broadcast rights, cos it's believed that there's not much interest in the territories where they've bought the rights for.

So you get to watch the games, but without the money getting back to the Prem which is f**king up the game. So it's all good. :)

Only if we're playing in the champs league (not interested in watching rubbish internet streams).

Nope.

You get Prem games - including the 3pm kick-offs, which you don't get on Sky!

You get more games, for no dosh (outside of buying the needed hardware - under £200, so much cheaper than a year's Sky).
