Football 2010-2011

I was joking about it being borrowed, but their finances aren't good, however they're dressed up. They can get by for a while but therefore Manchester United aren't the force in the market they were.

Interesting:

(Obviously Liverpool's debts are different now thanks to FSG)

What you've missed from all of that is the loans they've taken on the quiet to pay off some of the known debts.

Unless you're going to tell me that there's no subterfuge behind the Glazers moving their company registration to Delaware?

Don't care if United fans think all is well at the club. Suits me. Must be coincidence the large dominant spending at United has disappeared and that many financial experts seem to mutter worrying things are well at the club. The revenue that club take in is amazing, their owners are shit. You can dress those figures up how you want but there is no doubt the Glazers are stunting progress, it's just a testament to the structure you had before they came in that you're still on top.

Anyway, makes me pleased seeing our old figures. Just highlights how much better off we are now H&G got the boot.

But if that debt is indeed just personal, and we're going to include it on Utd's liabiities, then why not include any mortgages they have (property, the malls etc) as liabilities to Utd aswell.

they did it before. Why do you think they won't do it again?

Neither me or you know whether they took loans out or not

I do, and you do. Unless you think it rains money in Delaware, so that they suddenly had the funds to pay off huge amounts of debt?

edit: Kroenke is Delaware based aswell despite his sport franchises being in Colarado and Missouri.

While that might be as dodgy as the Glazers doings, it might not be (I know little about him, so I don't know).

Regarding the Glazers, it's known they're skint, and they suddenly moved everything to dodgy Delaware. It doesn't take a genius to realise that they did that for surreptitious reasons, particularly when they suddenly had some money after they'd moved.

Kroenke might be up to similar things, I don't know. But he does have a heiress as his wife, whose wealth pisses all over what is claimed as his (and his pisses all over the Glazers).

As an out and out goal scorer he is but Rooney is a better all round player. I would rather have Rooney in my side, he offers that little bit extra. You can play him in the hole and essentialy play either a 442 or 451 depending on how far you push him up the park.

Saw them both at Anfield a couple of years ago and at the time thought how much better Tevez was. Still stand by that. Bar his physical presence Rooney is behind Tevez in almost every aspect. However Rooney is English and therefore the greatest thing ever.

Does anyone know how the fixture list is decided? My Man Utd supporting fan mentioned earlier that they always get poor teams on the last game of the season. I thought he was exaggerating but when I checked there did seem to be a trend. Do they teams have any say in the order of games? I always assumed it wasnt random as they have to accomodate skys super sundays and try and ensure teams from the same city arent playing home the same day, however I had never given it much thought untill he pointed it out.

As for this mysterious unknown footballer, in no way connected to man utd. I am amazed with the plan to sue twitter. Its only going to make more people curious to find out who he is and to be honest Im not sure there are any left who dont know!
