That was brutal tonight...sheer and utter brutality! How on earth some of the Accies players sleep at night is beyond me  Gavin Skelton is absolutely f**king shite (but his sister is alright  ) he's got to be up there in my top 3 worse Accies players ever! Lost count of how many times I seen him wandering around the pitch with nobody around him whilst Raith were on the attack. Can he not pick the closest man to him and mark him or track runs? What's so f**king hard about it? Also, his crossing and delivery is sheer shite! He took about 3 corners just before coming off and not one got past the 1st defender! His crosses from open play weren't much better either. How the f**k Billy decided to give him the captains armband is beyond a joke! Fully deserved the volloy of abuse he got when Billy eventually decided to hook him

Was Gary McDonald playing? I think the only touch I remember him making was a needless handball when we were trying to counter Raith. Another duff signing by Reid!

The twins really need their hair gel taken away and the shit kicked out of them. Too many times tonight they pulled out of making a tackle or were pushed off the ball. Usually when they get pushed off the ball they go down quicker than Alan MacGregor faking an injury- just grow a pair of balls and get the f**k up ya pair of poofy wee bawbags!

Then there's Joel Thomas. What is there to say about him? When you want him to hold the ball up he passes it to nobody. When you want him to pass or play a through ball he decided to take the ball for a wee run only to completely f**k up his 2nd touch. How he lasted as long as he did tonight is anyones guess.

Billy really needs to dump the utter dross that he's signed like Skelton, Thomas and Ross ASAP as they're just not up to Division 1 standards nevermind SPL. He also needs to make changes sooner in games as tonight (and there has been a few others last season too)it was clear pretty early on that the system wasnt working. Plus he needs to sit down with his defense and work out whats going on cos 5 penalties in 3 games is just taking the piss.

I was saying to the guy behind me that this is just a carbon copy of early last season when we were quite clearly off the pace. The two of us agreed that the signing Billy's made this season are his worse yet- even though they all have SPL experience. We'll be lucky to stay up on tonights showing and if we do somehow survive it'll be because we do enough to earn a last day relegation showdown, Killie fold or Jimmy's nephew turns out to be a goal machine.

no mention of the games last night? poor show :P

think if there was ever worry that the spl should be expanded, then the past two nights have stopped that. i know it's a cup game so you can say they're giving it a bit more, but two 1st division teams getting the better of two lower spl teams. good to see :D

Jack Ross has left Accies 'by mutual consent' :D It really is a carbon copy of last season with Billy signing players then releasing them after a few games. Just show's how poor our pre-season is tbh, as surely that's the time to test these guys out against decent opposition then make your mind up about signing them!

Guess that means he's free to sign for St Johnstone then Minute? :P You'll be conceeding penalties in no time :D

I know nothing of the football team, but Utrecht is an industrial city in southern Holland that you have to go through if you're getting a train from Amsterdam to Eindhoven. Its also where my dad lived for five years while working for an American chemical giant before doing a runner from the Dutch taxman sometime in the early '70's.

Another good performance by us today but gutting we didnt take anything off the old firm (again!)

Great strike by Danny Grainger to open the scoring. Will need to see the winner again but looked to me like miller pulled our defender back. Good wins for killie and hamilton today!

Was talking to Rangers fans on the train back to Hamilton earlier and they were saying that St Johnstone deserved a point.

Seemingly the Accies goal was a 30 yard super strike from Dougie Imrie :D God I love that man!!
